❋ Youth Ministry

Featured verse: "Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes not me but the one who sent me." -Mark 9:37.

At Laramie FUMC, the church strives to create an environment where kids feel they belong and are loved, included as part of their church family.

Children are always welcome at the 10:00 am Worship Service. There is usually a special children's time in which kids come to the front and hear a special story or lesson, with a special treat for kids to take back to their seat afterward.

  • Mission Trips: Where We're Going: The youth service trip this summer went to Bayou La Batre, Louisiana, an opportunity to learn about local mission opportunities and make a difference close to home. Look for the video soon!

❋ Music Ministry

Music is a vital part of worship and community life at the church. Through song, the congregation offers praise, expresses faith, and connects hearts to God's presence.

The Music Ministry welcomes voices of all ages and skill levels — whether singing in the choir, playing in the hand bell choir, or simply loving to worship from the pews. Together, they lift joyful noise and sacred sound to glorify God and inspire one another.

Schedule: Wednesdays — Choir: 6PM, Bell Choir: 7PM.

Volunteer Opportunities

FUMC-Laramie is always looking for volunteers to assist with Sunday morning worship services — from Video Tech to Communion Stewards to Acolytes, there are many opportunities to serve the community. Those interested are asked to contact the office.

The church works in cooperation with a variety of churches, groups and agencies in the Laramie area to provide assistance for those most in need. By providing financial support, other resources, and volunteers, the church helps enable these ministries to help as many as possible.
