Scripture Reading:

"The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it." - Genesis 2:15 (NRSV) –

Reflection

:On Earth Day, we’re reminded that this world is not just a place we inhabit—it’s a sacred gift. From the vast oceans to the quiet rustling of trees, every part of creation reflects the beauty, creativity, and glory of its Creator.

God didn’t place us on Earth to exploit it, but to care for it. In Genesis, Adam was given the role of steward—called to work and protect the land. That same calling rests with us today. Whether it's picking up litter, conserving energy, or simply appreciating the beauty around us, every small act of care honors the One who made it all.

Creation speaks of God’s majesty—every sunrise, every breeze, every living creature. When we cherish the Earth, we’re worshiping the Creator through our actions.

Prayer:

Creator God, thank You for the beauty and wonder of this Earth. Help us to be faithful stewards of Your creation. Open our eyes to see Your presence in nature and our hearts to respond with care and gratitude. May we live in a way that honors You and sustains the world You’ve entrusted to us. Amen.

Action Step for Today:Take a walk outside and notice one thing you’ve never really paid attention to before—a leaf, a bird’s song, the texture of a rock. Offer a silent thanks to God for it. Then, do one small act to care for the Earth today.
