Today’s Reflection

Dealing with the possibility of getting stuck recognizes an important tension in living with purpose. On one hand, we trust that God is leading us to a purpose that focuses on our gifts, abilities, and interests. . . .

On the other hand, we allow God to lead us to places where we have to utterly depend on God. Following God’s direction means attempting challenges that can succeed only with God’s help.

Today’s Question

How do you overcome your fears and put your whole trust in God? Join the conversation.

Today’s Scripture

I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. And I came to you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.—1 Corinthians 2:2–3 (NRSVUE)

Prayer for the Week

God, you are the way, the truth, and the life. Show me the path you are calling me to go down and give me the strength to follow you, wherever you may lead. Amen.
