Remembering Our Need For Repentance
Unison Prayer:
Most merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done, and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We are truly sorry and we humbly repent. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, have mercy on us and forgive us; that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways, to the glory of your Name. Amen.

People: Not this man. Barabbas! Barabbas! Barabbas!

Benediction: Unison
During this time of Lent, we recall that there is a tomb for all of us. Some of us are already in the tomb. The pride that keeps us from humility and vulnerability, the guilt that keeps us from forgiveness and hope; these things enslave us in the tomb. Christ came so that we might have abundant life. Forgive us for refusing to live. Forgive us the times we choose to deepen the darkness. Amen.
This Service has no end. It is continued on Easter Morning at 10:00 am.
